TTS doesn't come out high phone

I recently upgrade my PC-- new processor- new motherboard-- same HD- running HS 1.7 and HSP 2.0 with a way2call usb hiphone.

The new motherboard has new sound card-- everything is working fine with it and all- but when I press # on my phones- the TTS goes to the soundcard rather than the hiphone. I have the TTS option set to system default in HSP. This worked before- not sure what is different besides the southcard.

I ran the hiphone test- it seems to work ok- but it waits forever for a dial tone on the last test. If I ignore the dial tone- it makes the call correctly.

Any hints?

Solved...

I think I licked this--- this problem only happens after I logged in with Remote Desktop. I simply have the sound left at the PC now and all seems ok.
