Way2Call Problem

    Way2Call Problem

    I am using Way2Call with the Pro100 box.
    It was installed per instuctions...
    The log shows that it recognizes callers as well as picking up an internal phone and depressing #.

    The problem is that I dont hear anything over the phone after depressing # and I dont see anything on the log that it recognizes any voice commands spoken on the home phone.

    Any Ideas?

    Turn on HSPhone logging and IVR logging and then see if the modem is acknowledgment of the # sign.

      Yes the log shows the # was recognized.

        Not sure if anything has changed since i first setup hsphone but i use the internal.txt script for answering internal calls, i see you are using a different script.

        Post a screen grab of your phone settings from "Setup/configuration" --Phone

            If you don't hear any TTS, I wonder if it could be the TTS voice you've configured for HSP?

            Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think HSP plays well with high-sample rate voices such as NeoSpeech 16K.

            I'm using NeoSpeech Kate 8K.

              I just ran into the same problem after 6 months of good performance. It seems to me the Way2Call Lite is not disconnecting from the phone line as after a short while I get the recorded phone company message to hang up and try again. The H/S log shows it see's the # and prompts me to say something but I hear nothing and H/S does not hear me even though it is waiting for a response.

                No it was not fixed...

                I uninstalled and re-installed and to no avail. Way2Call woulod even answer incoming phone calls but the caller would not hear any beep or voice prompts as well as not hearing my voice commands.

                I had to disable and unplug the device so we could use our old telephone answering machine...

                  It didn't get fixed, but we didn't get a chance to fully help you! If you could do as Neil suggested, we would have a better shot at figuring out the problem. We all love a good challenge :-)
