W2C not picking up Caller ID

I seem to have lost my original post, so I apologize if this ends up double-posting.

    --------------

I'm running HS 2.3.0.19 with Homeseer Phone and the Way2Call Hi-Phone Desktop USB.
I only use W2C to regulate incoming phonecalls, I don't use it for internal commands.

I'm not sure if my problem has to do with my W2C unit or my settings in HS.

Homeseer Phone and the W2C unit have been running perfectly up until recently when I reinstalled HS onto a new system, upgraded it, and transferred over my old config files.
Now, Homeseer does not register the numbers from Caller ID, thus all the actions I have attributed to the various phone numbers in my Address Book do not work.

Here are the settings I'm currently using: http://www.mike-spike.com/drivel/screencap-large.jpg

Thanks in advance for any help!
    Mike.

you say the problem started when you moved HS to a different machine. I'm sorry if this is too simple of a suggestions (I make many dumb mistakes!) is it possible that when hooking up the w2c you didn't hook up the phone lines correctly? If you don't have any handsets connected to the w2c that could slip through the cracks. If you've done the w2c diagnostic and it passed, then I'd assume that isn't the problem.

Did the OS change from the old pc to the new one (Ie, old pc = xp, new = vista?) If so, did you get/download the correct drivers for the w2c?

reason i'm asking those questions is because your config settings do look correct to me.

Thanks for the reply! (sorry about the double post, I can't believe how many hours it took for my post to show up in the forum!)

I've double-checked all connections and everything's in order. The W2C unit passed the diagnostic test and has all the newest firm/software drivers. As far as operating systems go, I installed the same OS on the new PC as the old (Windows XP Pro).

Here's the log from startup and including an incoming phonecall:

the delay in your original post is because posts from people who have less than X number of posts are moderated (at least it used to be that way, pretty sure still is), anway, no worries.

at this point Rupp (the local guru) would normally suggest that you delete (rename with different extension to create backup) your hsphone.ini file, and restart HS. this recreates the ini and then you can redo your settings. this works more often than you'd think.

Excellent, that's what I'll do right now, Ian. Thanks! I'll let you know how it goes.

edit -- actually I'll have to test the phone lines tomorrow... I didn't realize how late it was.
