Trying to set a specific temperature

I am trying to set a temperature for when we are working out to go down a couple of degrees when we turn the fan on. I have tried using "Ecobee Target Temperature High" and setting it to 20 but it isn't working. How do I set a specific temperature?

I'm pretty sure I don't understand what you want to do, but the event action to control a device should allow you to set the thermostat set point.

Well if I have Ecobee set to Program "Home" which is 22 celsius for heating and I want to override this setting by turning it down to 20 celsius, how do I do this in an event? I tried Ecobee Target Temperature High" and set it for 20 but it doesn't change my Ecobee temperature.

For heating, you probably want to adjust target temp low. That's the point at which below the heating comes on. Target temp high is the point at which above the cooling comes on.

Oh OK that could be why it isn't working. I will try that thanks.

          Yes, this worked!
