Clear a hold state

I would like to use an event, or better yet a script, to clear any hold on a thermostat every night. My family frequently sets a hold that does not time out correctly. I can see how to set a hold but not clear one.

Set the 'Current Program' device to "Resume Program'

Thank you for the info but I do not show those options in the event actions for Ecobee. I only have Set Schedule and that does not have a option for resuming a program. Is that a script command of some sort?

It's a device that can be set in an event action, like so:

Ah, sorry I was focused on the Ecobee actions. Got it now. Thank you!
