    well there is no error messages logged at all...

    try to add the following to Ecobee.ini

    Code:
    [GENERAL]
    log_level=Debug
    then disable/enable the plugin again...

        and ?
        Ecobee.ini is supposed to be blank after the first install, the lines above are used to get more logs to troubleshoot the problem.

          I was not sure if that ini file was suppose to be empty as some use ini files for configuration. I turned back on the plugin and error message.

              Spud,

              Do you have any ideas of how I can troubleshot this? I have greater than 4.5 .Net. I have enable the log and the log shows what it did earlier. From what I can tell all the ini file are empty. I finally got it to show the web config page but now it shows "404 Bad Request: /ecobeeconfig." Is there a way to get it to resinstalled?

              Help please.

                      You had a version of Newtonsoft.Json.dll in your HS3 dir that conflicts with the one used by the Ecobee plugin in bin/Ecobee

                      I renamed the one in your HS3 dir to Newtonsoft.Json.old, and it works now.

                          The Newtonsoft.Json.dll installed in the HS3 root folder by other plugins is a common problem (all the dependencies of a plugin are supposed to be installed in bin/pluginName)

                          I enabled developer mode and started the plugin and an error in the console confirmed that was the problem.
