Hi,
New Linux install on HS SEL. Found the instructions on updating Mono, now on 3.8.
The plugin creates 3 empty devices (not thermostats) and reports the below at every polling cycle.
Jun-30 8:18:30 PM Honeywell WiFi Thermostat Failed to retrieve thermostat data - error occurred, will retry
Jun-30 8:18:27 PM Honeywell WiFi Thermostat Error retrieving data for device 2782568: An error occurred performing a WebClient request.
I tried turning on logging so I could submit a proper bug, but the path to the log file the plugin is using appears to be wrong. It shows as:
"./Logs./HSPI_SKWARE_HW_WIFI_TSTAT.log" which contains an extra '.' at the end of Logs. I don't see any place to configure this, so I think the path is being generated wrong on Linux.
If I can fix the log file, hopefully I can give you a better bug report on the underlying problem of of the WebClient error.
Help!
Bill
