I tried to update the plugin, which went to 3.1.1.0 which failed. So I uninstalled and re-installed and got 4.1.2.0? Which is now asking for my registration key and doesn't seem to work with either key I got when I bought the plugin (HS3) or (HS4) key. I'm running on HS4 on Linux. Confused...

3.1.1.0 is for HS3, and 4.1.2.0 is for HS4. There was an issue when the 3.1.1.0 version was first released where it would be picked up by HS4. That was fixed so 4.1.2.0 is what you should have.
And the license key not working is a known issue being worked on, but the trial works for 30 days and I'm sure it'll be fixed before then.
