    Compatibility for RTH9580

    Hi Shill
I know there are some compatibility issue with your plugin running the RTH9580.

Having troubles here keeping my Honeywell Zwave connected, Keeps loosing connection.

I already own the RTH9580 but am not totally confidant in upgrading Mono.

This is the version Mono installed on my SEL running Unbutu 14.04, will it be compatible?

    Code:
Mono JIT compiler version 3.2.8 (Debian 3.2.8+dfsg-4ubuntu1)
Copyright (C) 2002-2014 Novell, Inc, Xamarin Inc and Contributors. www.mono-project.com
    	TLS: __thread
    	SIGSEGV: altstack
    	Notifications: epoll
    	Architecture: x86
    	Disabled: none
    	Misc: softdebug
    	LLVM: supported, not enabled.
    	GC: sgen

What compatibility issues are you referring to? I'm not familiar with that unit, but I'd expect any thermostat that uses the total connect comfort site to work.

But that is the broken version, unfortunately. I can do a quick test on ubuntu to make sure the instructions work properly for you.

Correct. There is a defect in the System.Net.Http implementation of Mono 3.2.8. It's fixed in 3.8, but debian hasn't updated their repositories yet.

Were you able to verify the upgrade instructions for Ubuntu 14.04?

My desktop (Lubuntu LXDE) has a utility to check for system upgrades, and reported that all packages were up to date. Looked specifically at mono-complete and it showed that 3.2.8 +dfsg-4ubun was the current version.

Google search showed other versions (3.10) that wound have to be obtained from Xamarin source and would not be available from ubuntu servers.

I think I will load up your PI and see how it does with my RTH580WF thermostat.
