    Difference between Away Mode and Standby Mode

    Can you please explain the Difference between Away Mode and Standby Mode?
    On the thermostat there's 'Holiday' mode which I guess is the same as 'Standby' but you can set number of days to revert back to normal mode.
    But I don't get in HS plugin - what's the difference?

    Standby Mode refers to the Frost Protection function on the Heatmiser (trying to stay as close to HS naming as possible).

    Away Mode is Heatmiser's Away mode.

    Holiday Mode is not currently supported in this plug-in.

      Thank you, that's why I asked - Heatmiser Neo doesn't have Away mode - there's On/Off (standby, frost protection), Holiday (I guess same as On/Off, but with number of days) and HoldClick image for larger version

        Yeah, it's strange, but Away Mode is in the API so that's why I programmed it in at the time. If anything I should probably remove it in a future version if I ever get the time ...

          Are you sure that "Away" mode in API isn't Holiday mode? Does it have additional arguments, like number of days or so?
          [EDIT] I checked the API document, it does have Away On/Off commands - not sure what they mean.
          But there's also Holiday related commands, i.e.
          Code:
          {"HOLIDAY":["HHMMSSDDMMYYYY","HHMMSSDDMMYYYY"]};
