Hi;
I have the Nest Thermostat plugin and I want to turn my thermostats to off whenever I open my windows in the house. I also want the to set the thermostat HVAC mode to Heat-Cool when the windows are closed.
I wrote homeseer code to do this and when I set the HVAC mode to off, the target temperature low and target temperature high values are being both set to 68 degrees which I thought was impossible. Why is setting the HVAC mode affecting the target temperature low and target temperature high values?
I think this is affecting my code to set the HVAC mode to Heat-Cool when I close the windows to fail due to the previous HVAC mode off command having set the target temperature high and low values to the same values.
Here is a display of the screen showing the HVAC mode having been set to off with the target temperature low and high values set to 68 degrees.
