omnistat3 changing occupancy mode during a power outage

I noticed both my stats changed from Night to Day mode after a power outage; and thus the temp settings changed too; i can see this all in the hs log.

i thought the stats were supposed to save their settings during a power outage

anyone else see this behavior?
