Fan mode question

Is it normal for the RCS Serial plugin's webpage to show the fan mode as "Auto (Off)" with the fan motor running?

It appears counerintuitive...I expected to see "Auto (On)" with the fan running in auto mode.


I am running the current Serial plugin (verified in the updater) and two RCS TR16s linked via RS485 in a serial configuration. Everything else appears normal.

After some more research (and actually thinking about it), it makes sense that RCS (and the plugin) report the fan settings. They have no way of knowing what the furnace is actually doing...just what is commanded.

I think I'm going to implement a fan current sensor to determine the fan status....
