    Hold vs Run

I know I have seen this somewhere but can't remember where.

What is the difference between the HOLD and RUN mode?

These refer to the status of thermostat schedules. HOLD locks in whatever temp you set, in other words 100% manual control. RUN activates whatever schedule you have selected and temps will change according to what the schedule calls for.

If you want to control your thermostat with a program you've entered into the thermostat itself, then you should select Run mode. If you intend to have HS control the thermostat settings, then select Hold mode so the thermostat program won't disrupt the HS control settings.
