Thank you for taking the initiative to make this plug-in work and to share your effort with the rest of us. I gather your initial effort is already a huge improvement, and it sounds like you intend to do more.

I think it would be helpful to start a new thread when you have your next iteration ready to share and to request that it be made sticky so that it will be easier to find.

    Thank you again.

Thanks everyone for your continued support and feedback... it is much appreciated!

gearyt, what are your model/firmware versions? I'm curious, since my understanding was that if there's no temp sensor installed, the unit should not include the "OA" parameter in the response string, and yours is (hence the -1 outside temp value). Also, its sending to address 255 (broadcast to all devices), instead of the master (00)... this seems to contradict the documentation I have.

I hope to have a slightly more refined version of the plug-in available to post towards the weekend... nothing major, just an evolution on what I put out earlier.

my problem is the page is not refreshing with a change received. If I reload, everything is perfect. Do I need to set polling ?

added polling.. now outside temp bounces from actual to -1 ( not bouncing at stat )
log looks steady.. - Let me know if you need to log in my system - email me for access

Okay - try this version. It's got some cleaned-up logic & includes a few improvements.

Is it tough to integrate the standard "bulb" temperature readings into the plug-in ? I know I can manually do it, but every update erases...

IF you wanted to go really crazy.. below 70 = blue, over = red ??
