Old backups not deleted when number of backups to keep is reached

Although the number of backups to keep is reached BlBackup (2.0.47.0) is not deleting the oldest backup.

For e.g. 9 backups are stored, see below

The backup log showed that the number of backups to keep is 5 and that older backups were not removed.

How can I resolve this issue?

Capture me a debug log of a small backup from start to finish and then attach it here zipped
It is called BLBackup-Detailed.log and is in the HS3 root folder
    Cheers,

      Please find attached

      BLBackup-Detailed2.zip

The next one was for the creation of the multiple backups

      BLBackup-Detailed.zip

Thanks for looking to the issue.

Change your destination folder from c:\backup\ to c:\backup

Get rid of the ending \

            Same issue

I'm having the same issue. I have it set to keep 30 days worth, and it doesn't delete any (have more than a years worth stored). My backup dest does NOT have a trailing /. My backup dest is: "X:\Backup\HomeSeer" and is a network mapped drive.

Same here. I am running on HS3Pi 3.0.0.368, BLBackup 2.0.48.0. My backup destination is an nfs mount. Set to keep 30 days of logs, and 10 backups. I have 30 backups now, and old ones do not get deleted to maintain 10.

I clipped the (very long) debug log to show what I think is the part where backups and logs are checked and deleted if needed. Seems like it knows it should keep 10, then walks through all the backup file names (30), maybe does not increment a counter? And then does not delete any.

              Works great except for this!

(Side note: when I click the Help button in BLBackup, Chrome opens a new tab, which says "Loading", but nothing ever appears in that browser tab. No Help )

              Thanks

Blade, any update on this issue of backups not being deleted after number to keep is reached?

                Thanks

                  Try 2.0.50

Success! Updated plugin to 2.0.50 on my HS3Pi yesterday, backup scheduled for 2AM last night. When it ran it deleted all the old backups as expected, left only the 10 I asked for.

                    Thanks!
