Yes I believe you will need to create the device outside of the plugin. Then assign the device code you used to create it on the BLGarbage options page -

In the plug-in help file, it doesn't give any information about the "Last Garbage Collection Ran Device Code" option. Do I need to create a virtual device in HS3 for the plug-in to use? If so, what type code (an X10 code like v3 or something else) should I use?
