What hardware is supported except for Betabrite by Adaptive. Adaptive has newer models however I couldn't find any evidence of backwards compatibility.

Thanks Blade, but this is not the question anymore as I ventured to buy Beta Brite in order to use your plug-in BLLED. I downloaded the plug-in and I connected Beta Brite to USB/serial interface and I can't make it working. Pls help with an advise of what am I doing wrong. Beta Brite does work off line displaying messages entered trough their own IR remote. However nothing changes when I connect the serial cable it still displays the old messages. The only difference is that IR remote doesn't work when connected to serial. That's fine but BLLED doesn't work either. I'm pretty confident that I did the serial connection properly. My USB/serial adapter has Rx and Tx lights that lit properly when I try to send something out. I gave it a benefit of a doubt and swapped pins 2 and 3 (Tx and Rx) but it didn't change anything and I swapped back. I'm sure your plug-in is OK as many others are using it, just need a help with the initial setup.

I have some betabrite software here.
Can you download and unzip it and give it a try and see if it works with your betabrite

Thanks Blade. I did install it. Everything looks normal at the PC when I run it and send a message over to BetaBrite. The Rx and Tx lights blink briefly on my adapter indicating activity and the software reports that the message was sent out (no error messages whatsoever), however BetaBrite doesn't display the message. It displays the old message left from the manual programming.Looks to me that it is somehow locked or blocked not to get new messages. Also this software doesn't have (or I couldn't find it) setup menu. So the only place I setup the com port is during the installation of the software where I did set it up correctly to com1. There is no place to setup speed, parity etc. So based on info from this BLLED forum I set it up to 9600/7/E/1 in the Windows Device Manager.

Hmmm ok
Try doing this...
Make sure you do this first:
https://forums.homeseer.com/node/109952
Then perform these steps:
1. Disable the plugin
2. Edit the hspi_BLLED.ini and change debugLevel=true
3. Save INI file
4. Restart the plugin
Let it run for a minute or so and then disable debug logging in the options page
Attach the BLLED-Detailed.log zipped here
It is in the HS3 root folder
Also, let me know which model you have. Post a link to it
Maybe it does work off of a different speed

Needless to say that all 4 boxes in the "Options" page are checked for logging.
Disabled and re-enabled BLLED plug-in to purge any old settings. No change. Do you want me to delete "BLLED-Detailed" to see if the plug-in would create new?
Thanks,

OK I deleted the old "BLLED-Detailed" file and BLLED created a new fresh one (attached here). BLLED-Detailed.zip
