    Losing Database

Twice now I have lost my entire radar database. No reason. I reboot and notice that my motion and active zones are not changing. I check the sensors and they are empty.

Is there a way to restore them? Why does it happen?

I have never seen this happen? Is this HS2 or HS3?

Do you use BLBackup or another backup solution to backup all your HS files?
    Cheers,

It is HS3. I had it happen first on my old HS3 box, then it just happened on my HomeTroller box.

I did not have a backup running yet as the programming is not completed.

This just happened to me. All devices and sensors are just gone. No reason.

If your sensors are gone then that means the hspi_BLRadar.ini is missing
In the 9 years I have been BLRadar I have never seen this happen

There should be a hspi_BLRadar.ini.bak file in the config folder
          Cheers,

Same issue here after recent upgrade to v. 2.0.106.0.

BAK ini file dated only one day prior to the corrupted ini file, same issue using the backup.

Same thing here. Database just went blank, all the devices are still in HS3 but not in BLRadar anymore.

That is very bizarre. I have never in the 10 years running BLRadar seen my devices get deleted from the plugin
You should have a backup created by the plugin

I will look into this but I think it will be a hard one to find.

For me it was the upgrade as well. Nothing else has been touched on the box for a few months.

Crap. Lost it again. Have you found out why this happens. The backup file is no good because I rebooted the system before I noticed it and the backup got replaced with an empty database...

I just lost all my devices again. No backups that have anything in them other than the device changes records.

Not sure what to do here I can't be rebuilding all these devices every few months.

I don't how it could happen. The plugin does not delete any files.
Like I said I have been running BLRadar for over 10 years and never seen this happen
Is there any debug info you have to help me determine why it is happening
                        Cheers,

I don't have any debug info available I'm sorry.

My machine is rebooting on it's own in a non-graceful way. I'm pretty sure it's not the plugins fault. I'm just trying to figure out a way to prevent it.

I'll have to archive the database files in homeseer. I was able to recover from a system image bare metal copy from a few days ago.

The plugin does make a backup on each startup of the plugin
                            Cheers,

                              Lost again.

I have an old .ini file and I put it in and there is still nothing there. Of course I reboot the system before checking this and now have a backup of an empty database.

What file in what folder do I need to back up? This is driving me crazy.......
