APC Back-UPS XS 1500 Not Working

I just installed the plugin and it does not appear to to see my UPS.

It is connected via USB to my Windows 10 Pro system and I have the APC PowerChute Personal Addition up and running.

Do I need to NOT run the APC application? I'll try shutting it down.

I used the Task Manager and killed all of the PowerChute processes and it still does not see my UPS. I also tried to restart HS3 with no luck?

    Startup log reports:

    Code:
    3/4/2018 6:08:43 PM ~!~Info~!~Plugin BLUPS has connected. IP:127.0.0.1:63145
    3/4/2018 6:08:43 PM ~!~BLUPS start~!~Initializing BLUPS...
    3/4/2018 6:08:44 PM ~!~BLUPS start~!~BLUPS version is: 2.0.22.0
    3/4/2018 6:08:44 PM ~!~BLUPS start~!~Loaded configuration successfully
3/4/2018 6:08:44 PM ~!~BLUPS start~!~UPS battery has been detected on the system

    3/4/2018 6:08:44 PM ~!~Plug-In~!~Finished initializing plug-in BLUPS
I note that there are PORT numbers. I guess at this point I should try and find if there is any documentation. Do I need to do anything with my firewall with these port numbers? IP:127.0.0.1:63145

The log says it sees my UPTS:

        Try this

        1. Disable plugin
        2. Edit hspi_BLUPS.ini and change debugLevel=true
        3. Save INI file
        4. Re-enable plugin

Let the plugin run a few minutes, then disable debug logging

        Attach the BLUPS-Detailed.log zipped
It is in the HS3 root folder
        Cheers,

                  I found the problem!!!

It seems that BLUPS does not like the APC UPS driver.

I opened the Device Manager and

                  1) Clicked on 'Batteries' to expand list

                  2) Right-Clicked on 'APC UPS'

                  3) Selected 'Update Driver'

                  4) Selected 'Browse m y computer for driver...'

                  5) Selected 'Let me pick from a list...'

                  The following list appears:

                  APC UPS
                  HID UPS Battery
                  HID-compliant device

                  6) Select 'HID UPS Batter'

                  7) Next and Close

                  The Status page now shows:

                  Power Status On AC Power
                  Battery Level High
                  Battery Percentage 100%
                  Life Remaining 54 minutes
                  Last Power Failure Not Set
