I have two lights to start and when I turn on bulb 1 I want bulb 2 to turn on. then the same when I turn them off. I have a bunch of outlets this grouping will make setting up so much easier

Ok, go to device 1. Select the Cps Links tab. Then go to the 'Cross Links' tab on that page. Select device 2. That will setup both devices so any state change on either is reflected on the other. That should do it. In your events, generally try to use the same device (e.g. always use device 1). The plugin will detect loops and stop them, but always using the same device in events makes for easier debugging if you have issues.
The other modes are designed so you can do specific actions only on certain states (e.g. only when X turns ON then turn Y ON).
