Help required doing maths with varibles

I was looking at a thread where someone was using maths on a device variable then setting it on another device.

I have attached similar to what I'm trying to achieve.
I changed from "($$DVR:574: * 0.14) before the screen shot. Nothing seems to work.

The value isn't working, the Log states
"Jun-25 23:54:35 EasyTrigger ERROR SetDeviceValueToVariable: Cannot parse variable (70.288 * 0.14) to a numerical value"

What is it I am doing wrong?

If i simply put $$DVR:574: the value gets transferred.
