  • Need help formatting Global Variables in Email/Pushover

I don't understand the proper syntax to use when specifying Global Variables in the body of a Text Message, Email or Pushover.

Here's what I'm using for the Subject/Title: Home Battery Alert - Battery at $$GLOBALVAR:ETDeviceStatus: %

Here's what I'm using in the Body:
    Node: $$GLOBALVAR:ETDeviceRef:
    Named: $$GLOBALVAR:ETDeviceName:
    Level is: $$GLOBALVAR:ETDeviceStatus:

The syntax looks correct to me. Have you verfied that those variables exist and are poplulated in your Global Variables tab?

Is the variable initialized? Have you tried a different variable?

Have you set up a trigger group under Easy Trigger config yet? The global variable will be the last trigger device from groups you set up there. "$$GLOBALVAR:ETDeviceRef:" will be replaced by the last trigger device's reference number. You can see what the trigger device is by looking under "Tools > Global Variables, Timers and Counters" from within Homeseer navigation menu.
