I am trying to do a comparison between the value of two virtual devices. But both of the events are triggered, and i cannot understand why. Can someone please offer me some advice on how to do this in a correct way? Screenshot of virtual devices and values, and events are uploaded with post.

Just to elaborate on Wade's post, in order to test an event with conditions you will need to create another event that has the action to run the test event. You also need to specify that the event is to be run only if the conditions are true. (The options for an event action are exposed by clicking on the airplane symbol when editing the action.)

A most sincere thanks to Uncle Michael and Wade!
This explains why I could not figure this out. And now the comparison works correctly. I was not aware of this "Feature" of the events in Homeseer, and I now understand that this has caused med severeal of my event problems...

This quirk is definitely confusing to new users. It is partly the result of new capabilities being added without changing the obsolete wording on the interface, but it is also just one of several head scratching examples of puzzling word choices that most likely reflect the engineering background and focus of the designers. (They're definitely not lexicographers!)Mike____________________________________________________________ __________________
