I tried to update to the latest version yesterday (HS3, Windows 7 system), and saw this in the log:

A warning has gotten logged to the HomeSeer3 log:
Updater Warning
File exists, not overwriting: C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HS3\Config\\EasyTrigger.ini

what does it mean - did I update successfully or not?

yes you updated successfully
EasyTrigger.ini contains all your settings for the Easy Trigger plugin, so it is not overwritten when you update the plugin, it is the expected behavior.
