Sorting added for devices in Battery Reports

3.0.1.4 (currently available as a Beta) introduces sorting to the list of battery devices in reports.

You can select the parameter to sort by:
    Name
    Battery Level
    Battery Rate
    Battery Life

as well as the direction, i.e. Ascending or Descending.

The new configuration parameters are added to the Battery Devices config page:

I believe there's a bug related to this. I go to the settings as described, change the setting to "Ascending". Reports are sorted properly.
If the plugin is restarted, the sort setting goes back to Descending.

    Running HS V4.2.6.0

      Well spotted.
I've found the big and will push an update later today.

      Thanks,

There seems to be a problem with the Developer's Portal today which is preventing me releasing an update. I have emailed HS so hopefully it will be sorted in due course.

Updated beta version 3.1.0.6 now in updater.

TC1 I'd appreciate it if you could check it has fixed the bug for you.

          Thanks,

            Hi Steve,

Update seems to have corrected the issue, installed, set the sort order (Ascending), checked the report, stopped the plug-in and restarted it, re-checked the sort setting, rechecked the report.

One thing of note and not sure if it's an HST or plugin issue, when I tried to update the plugin from the Manage Plugins page, clicked on the cloud download icon, the page would bring up the overlay but it was blank/nothing. I had to instead go directly the Add plugins page and install the beta as if it was a new plugin.

I think that is an HST issue as updating can be temperamental. I updated the plug-in on my production system using the little cloud icon and it worked fine but I have sometimes had errors in the past.

              Thanks,
              Steve

                Hey Steve,
I've updated to 3.1.0.6 today and just wanted to say, very nice feature! It's great to see the battery levels in ascending order so I know which batteries I'll need next.

I'll release this as a full version now as it doesn't appear to cause any problems.
