I used to use tasker to run HS2 events from my phone. But this no longer works.

I was using HTTP Post as follows:

http://usernmeassword@dns addressort

path: /evls

Data; run_event=Event Name

Is there something in HS3 that keeps this from working?

Yes, the pages have all now changed so /evls does not even exist. The HS help file does not have examples like the HS2 one, perhaps it is possible but it is not documented at the minute.
