The line numbers are within each Task. Take a look at the attached picture. Line #3 is Variable Set Name %HsRef to 1908 - Change the 1908 to reflect your device ref code.

  • Tasks to get current location data in HS3 (User Addon Task)

I'm not an expert at Tasker by any means. I've basically learned by trial and error and couldn't of done any of this without Tonlof's plug-in and examples!

I'll be adding a few tasks to this post to show how to get location based info into HS3 from your Android phone, Tasker and a Tasker Plug-in AutoLocation.

    1. Get Map
    • This is a Task to get a Google Map of your current location and place it in a HS3 device.
    • Download the xml and sideload it onto your Android phone, then within Tasker import the file.
    • Be sure to change line #3 to the Ref Code that you want to populate within HS3.

    2. Get Address
    • This is a Task to get your current street address and place it in a HS3 device.
    • Download the xml and sideload it onto your Android phone, then within Tasker import the file.
    • Be sure to change line #6 to the Ref Code that you want to populate within HS3.

    2. Split Location
    • This is a Task to get your current Longitude and Latitude and place it in two HS3 devices.
    • Download the xml and sideload it onto your Android phone, then within Tasker import the file.
    • Be sure to change line #4 and #10 to the Ref Codes that you want to populate within HS3.

I'll be listing more about this soon (have to get some work done today!) but wanted to get something going. Next up will be how to tie it all together and auto run based on whether you are home or not using Autolocation.

    Thanks.
