Recommendations for Windows SQLite external program

    Randy,

Not sure if this is the place to post this.

I was looking to administer the SQLite DB externally on the HS box with something light and free.

    I found this:

What is your opinion and what are you using?

I use http://sqlitebrowser.sourceforge.net/ Pete and its OK, depends on what you want to do with it though...I use that for browsing, executing the odd command and deleting records.

      Thank-you Adam.

Just looking for something light and a non invasive add to the base on the Homeseer server that will do as you said.

Do any of these allow you to read tables without locking the entire database? I've tried one (can't recall the name) and it generated errors in UltraLog for what appeared to be locking the files, even when I was querying an unrelated table.

I admit I'm new to SQLite, so I just gave up on that program and went back to UltraLog's Homeseer web interface. It could have been my lack of expertise and not the tool's fault.

I'd be interested in hearing about a functional windows tool.

I use an older version of Navicat and it allows me to connect and query a 'live' database without affecting anything.

Ouch, the current version is pretty pricey.

Sorry Pete. I missed this post. I use the SQLite Visual Studio 2008 add-in. I also use the SQLite command line shell to administer the databases (http://www.sqlite.org/sqlite.html). I don't have experience with any other tools.

                  Regards,
