  • UltraStatus - Possible Enhanacement Request

    Ultra,

    Have you ever thought of expanding UltraStatus to include all the virtual codes Q-Z and all the special codes like $,# etc.....

    Is it something you might consider?

      This plugin was designed to respond to X10 devices changing status. Valid X-10 codes are A-P and 1-16. Anything else (excluding the virtual codes) is owned by a plug-in and should be handled by the associated plug-in. I believe that messing with devices owned by another plug-in is a bad thing and may result in unpredictable behavior.

      If you REALLY needs this ability, you can manually editing the hspi_ultrastatus.xml file.

      Example:
      PHP Code:
        <RuleItem ID="1132840389" Name="Some New Rule" Enabled="True"
      DevOn="Device Is On" DevOff="Device Is Off" DevOther="Unknown"
      DevCodes="Q4,S7,^6" Logging="True" />
      Regards,

        Thanks Ultra, works well.

        One more thing is there a way of giving a value to the device as well?

          No, not at this time. Can you provide an example of what you are trying to do?
