I am still getting the no device found errors...

I appears that I must have another symbol that that XML database does not like. I run the three tests above and they all appear to work good. But when I try to use the load command I get "No Homeseer Devices Found"...
HS is using the following symbols #,&,`,(,[,],\,^,', and _. I am thinking that one of these symbols is not trapped and is causing the problem.. this is a guess.. If I can send you any data to help please let me know. I would love to get this going..

      Thanks
      DEM

Close HomeSeer, then copy this dll in the HomeSeer folder overwriting the existing one.

Let me know if this works, and I'll post it for others.

It should be easy to figure out which one is causing the problem. Using IE, try loading http://localhost/status?pg=xml_devices, then scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see an error displayed. Please post your findings.

          All appears OK

          Ultra;
I ran the http://localhost/status?pg=xml_devices script again and there are no errors it appears to complete ok.. In saying that it does seem to run weird it appears to take a couple of breaks (1 or 2 secs. each about 2 maybe 3) while it is running but appears to complete ok. I sreached the out file for and errors none were found (I can send it to you if you want..). It appears that the output file has all my devices listed (I did a quick scan all looks there..) Am I missing a event that needs to be created , It seems to me that the old UV/S used a event that updated the database with every decice change.. Am I incorrect , or is there a new way this happens ??? In an hoping we can solve this problem as I miss having this plugin ... Yet when I run the load command form the cofig page I still get "No Homeseer devices fonnd"

          TIA

            Joining the ranks

I'm getting the same error. I was able to load all three of those pages with no problem. Just a question, what exactly are we supposed to see when we run the following pages?

            http://localhost/status?pg=xml_status

            http://localhost/status?pg=xml_devices

            http://localhost/status?pg=xml_locations

I just see the regular homeseer status page. Nothing changes. I can't scroll down and view the errors.

            Thanks

                Problem solved

Figured it out. I didn't save my settings after I enabled the plugin. After I enabled the plugin, the load was successful.

                My bad....
