  • Possible to use just first floor in UltraView2?

    I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of the drop down menu for selecting refresh, basement, 1st floor... and just leave the Update button?

    My scripting abilities are really weak, but I figured someone has made this modification before, and could point me in the right direction.

    Thanks for the help.

    It would probably be easier to dig a basement and add a second floor to your house

    Try this:
    1) Make a backup of homeseer 2\html\ultraview2\ultraview2.aspx.
    2) Edit homeseer 2\html\ultraview2\ultraview2.aspx.
    3) Search for:
    PHP Code:
    <form name="frmAction" method="post">
        <
    strong>View Floor:</strong>
        <
    select class="formdropdown" size="1" name="selAction">
            <
    option value="-1" selected>Refresh</option>
            <
    option value="0">Basement</option>
            <
    option value="1">First Floor</option>
            <
    option value="2">Second Floor</option>
            <!--<
    option value="3">Third Floor</option>-->
        </
    select>
        <
    input class="formbutton" id="cmdUpdate" onclick="selActionClick()" type="button" value="Update" name="Update">
    </
    form
    4) Replace with:
    PHP Code:
    <form name="frmAction" method="post">
    <
    input type="hidden" name="selAction" value="-1">
    <
    input class="formbutton" id="cmdUpdate" onclick="selActionClick()" type="button" value="Update" name="Update">
    </
    form

      ...and no basement digging required. ;-)

      Thanks for the help.
