Loads and Seems to set up OK...but no communications

I loaded the two files from the Microsoft site and was able to set up token with Amazon. I do seem to get nothing though. The boot log for HS3 shows this...any ideas?

    0/11/2019 5:22:47 PM ~!~Starting Plug-In~!~Plugin Alexa started successfully in 563 milliseconds
    10/11/2019 5:22:47 PM ~!~Starting Plug-In~!~Alexa loaded in 871 milliseconds

And the log shows...sorry for any extra stuff...I have shut it down...completely rebooted my PC...I get audio from the mic out my sound card.

    Thanks

Did you know Alexa support is native to HS3 and doesn't require a 3rd party plugin?

Thanks...I assume you mean via the HS Skill for Alexa? Yes, been using that for a long time. I was a data architect for years and a little paranoid about security and big data both. The goal here is two fold. One, Let Homeseer be the gateway for what goes to Amazon. Two, just keep as much local as I can.

I fixed the plugin error as it was in my PC config. I had all mic stuff turned off as I don't want/need Cortina always listening in either. I fixed that and got it working. Since my hobby is recording audio I have several mics and external sound cards around. I did get the plugin working thru Homeseer last night.

I have a couple things still to work out as most my extra external sound cards are all single mic devices. I was going to put one "always on" in my recording studio in the basement and one to cover the first floor. I have not played with it enough yet possibly, but the I don't think the HSPI_Alexa will be able to use separate sound cards...which means pulling cable thru conduit (sigh) and a multi mic card. I do have an older 8 port Presonus sound card I don't use anymore, but just not looking forward to pulling out all the cables and fire putty out of my conduit runs to add a new cable for this..

The other parts of my house that I can't reach with cable I'm pretty much never in and I could just put a couple of my no longer needed Alexa devices in there as things like the guest bedroom have the doors closed all the time and wouldn't pick up day-to-day conversations in other parts of the house.

The flip side is I almost NEVER use Alexa for anything other that controlling Homeseer, so I thought I'd play with voice control in HS and forget about Alexa. I'm guessing I'll have the identical 2 soundcard issue...but I'm also getting the following message when HS launches the speaker client...

:Error loading grammar file C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HS3\Grammar\Grammar_AudioRecorder#Default_Final.xml : Exception from HRESULT: 0x80045003

Posts I've looked at so far make it sound like voice recognition is not working to cause that...but it is...so more fun stuff to figure out.

Since my other hobby is now "Homeseer" guess I'll have plenty to do :-)

Would be nice if the more capable Home Automation skill were available outside the US. The Smarthome skill, which is, can't differentiate between Echo units limiting what can be done. So far HST has ignored my requests for information on the reasoning for this. It seems customers outside the US are 2nd class.
