Lock widget position?

When building screens, most of the time I’ll move a widget and get too close to another one and the whole screen shifts around. Kinda frustrating sometimes.

Is there a way to lock widgets in place?

Yeah, just went through the exercise in building a screen on my new phone (samsung s21fe). It was more than frustrating as I moved a widget near the other, the one I intended to move jumped over the one above and on and on all the way to the top. I find in this case you can't move the upper widget down..it just generates space - not sure if this makes any sense. Plus the sensitivity of moving the widget makes it extremely difficult to navigate.
