Editing dashboard struggle

I've got a new Samsung s21 phone and I'm trying to edit/ move my devices on a dashboard I created. However, my devices are jumping over other icons as soon as I touch them to move. It is absolutely a struggle to create the dashboard. It's like the app needs a "fine" mode so that minute moves don't cause big changes. Is there a way to do this?
