  • How To, Get latest snapshots of detected motion from Blue Iris as a URL

Was trying to construct a Imperihome page that had pictures of the last motion detected on each camera from Blue Iris.

Well the only url which I could get to work required that you know the snapshot "Filename".

So here is how you can do it...

    Under camera property
    Post tab
    Check post JPEGs
Check maintain a ring of 10, check preserve time order
Check Queue an image update when camera triggered, one every 5 (5 worked for me)
Check post files to a folder, MUST BE; C:\Blueiris\Alerts
Select only during profiles... I have 3 selected, because my (HS-FL100+) motion sensors puts the cameras in that profile when they detect motion.
    see attached picture.

    The URL that works
    http://BlueIrisIP:Port/Alerts/CameraShortName_000.jpg
    to
    http://BlueIrisIP:Port/Alerts/CameraShortName_009.jpg
in order 000 newest and 009 oldest.

    For me
    http://192.168.1.100:80/Alerts/Cam1_002.jpg
    or
    http://192.168.1.100:80/Alerts/Cam1_003.jpg
would be the pictures that showed a person.

So in Imperihome, I selected WWW webpage and used the URLs for each camera. (Refresh = 30) This creates a page with the latest detected motion from each camera.
