    What is the best way to connect remotely with imperihome to homeseer?

    Also can you explain steps to do so please, Not an expert on creating remote addresses

    There are a few different options. The easiest is to set up port forwarding on your router/firewall. Different makes/models of routers have different ways of doing this, so your best bet for it would be to google "port forwarding" along with the make & model number of your specific router. You would need to forward port 8072 (assuming you left his at default) to the internal ip address of your HS server that is running the ImperiHome plugin.

      would remote URL be the following

      http://192.168.1.119:8072/issapi



      I opened port in my router and have ip address as a reserved DHCP address

      However still not working. Any suggestions! BTW love your new plugin. Using it for iPhone and myhomeseer for my iPads but may convert iPads to imperihome soon.

        No, you need to use an external ip address. Go to http://www.whatsmyip.org/ and it should show what that is. Note that depending on your service provider, it could change often. There are dynamic dns services availanbe that would keep it up to date. One example is dyn.com.

          hey

          thanks got it to work. Will have to see if ip address changes but for now works great. Another issue is my thermostats on imperihome say wrong temperature for the current temp. It appears its in celsius however it has an F next to it. for example the real temp is 70 but it say 34F
