Windows phone 8 support for zwave thermostats?

I just installed the win phone 8 app, and I have to say I'm very impressed! Well done.

I saw a post that stated that thermostats are supported, but my zwave thermostats aren't. The most I can get them to do is display the status information. Am I correctly guessing that you don't support zwave thermostats at this point?

As a broader question, are you actively developing? I'm a bit concerned based on a lack of posts in this forum that maybe there isn't enough interest? I'd hate for that to be the case, that's for sure!

I have full control of my zwave thermostat, did you click the plugin button and put a check mark next to your thermostat?
then in incontrol on your phone click the status of your thermostat and a new screen will open with all the controls.

I know I must be missing something...

Here is a link to the screenshot of what I see. I can click show device, and it shows me the temperature in Incontrol, but I don't see anything beyond that.

I'm probably not looking in the right place, but I can't find where I should be. Thanks for the help...

Thanks for your feedback. Thermostats are set up from the main InControl Page (i.e. http://servername/InControl_WP7). From that page click the Thermostats link at the top.

If the thermostat was built based on the HomeSeer standards, it should show up under the "Supported Thermostat" section. From there you just need to enable it and give it a name/location if you choose.

If the thermostat does not support the standard HomeSeer standards, this adds complexity but can be accomplished. To start click the "Add" link the "Custom Thermostat" section and begin the configuration. In the configuration, you need to specifically indicate what capabilities are available through the plug in, what HomeSeer devices are used for the various information and then also provide HomeSeer Scripts or commands to do the control. I've attached a screen shot of my settings.

Let me know how it goes.....

        Thanks!
