  • Anyone using Davis, MeteoStick and WeeWx?

Been playing with the Meteostick and WeeWx. Very nice stuff.

Anyone using the Meteostick / Davis?

I use a MeteoBridge with a Davis Vantage Pro 2.
    No problems for many years...

      Thank-you MM.

What weather software are you using with your MeteoBridge?

Here using Cumulus running in Mono Linux on an RPi2 with a custom buffered serial cable to my Davis console. It's been running fine.

I also have an old AAG 1-wire station and Fine Offset.

I have read about some issues with the range of the MeteoStick. The specs are 100 (300 feet) meters but read that it is more like 40 meters (120 feet).

Historically have looked at DIYing a custom RF receiver.

Been tinkering with WeeWx and the Meteostick running on Ubuntu 16.10 and like it so far.
