  • wind sensor compass heading?

I'm getting ready to install a wind sensor for my weather station. Below is what the instructions say as far as what direction the wind sensor should be pointing:

For correct and accurate readings it is important to mount the sensor so that the front (marked E) is pointing in East-West direction.

What does it mean by "East-West direction." Call me stupid, but shouldn't the E be pointing East, not East-West? and what exactly is "east-west" anyway!?

    Thanks,

    Ian

Made in Taiwan is it? Sounds like a translation thing.
Just a guess, but I imagine E wants to be facing East.
When I installed mine, I lined up the vane so HS was reading North. I then taped the vane in place until I got it set up on the roof using a compass.
Real courage is not securing your Wi-Fi network.
