It will work just fine. It's the same as a lot of us have a WS-2902 coupled with a ObserverIP Module.

Any updates on your experience with this weather station? It's a great price and can use the external temp/humidity sensors!

It's been great for me. I use the light sensor and temp for a bunch of different events and I just view the wind stuff. But seems accurate and works well.
