Before I bust a brain cell trying to figure it all out, maybe someone else has parsed this notion?
I have the Ambient Weather station on a Z-Wave wall wart switch. I get emails from CWOP when the station stops reporting (like it did around 10pm last night during electrical storms) notifying me with a subject line of "AmbientCWOP Alert: FW7040 Weather Data is STALE" . Every time I SEE this email I can use my phone to use Homeseer mobile to turn the switch off then on manually, and it has always worked (so far) to reactivate and make CWOP happy.
I'd like to create an event that, when CWOP issues the email alert, tells HS4 to turn OFF the weather station, wait 10 seconds, then turn back on to reboot the station.
Has anyone else already cleverly done this? (And/Or found a way to do the same thing if the router loses internet service?) Or is there a way the plugin can sense loss of access to the internet? (and thereby execute the event described?)
