  • Forecasts Schedule causing error

    Hi Jeff,

I have had a nagging issue in HS3 where I get a error. Rich did not think it was anything to worry about, but I finally tracked it down.

In my schedule, I have the Forecast set to go at 3 minutes after the hour. Not sure if it is running or not, but every time it runs, this is in the log:

Jun-17 15:18:57 Error BuildDeviceVoiceCommands error (1), Object reference not set to an instance of an object., Scheduler
Jun-17 15:18:56 Error BuildDeviceVoiceCommands error (1), Object reference not set to an instance of an object., Scheduler
Jun-17 15:18:56 Error BuildDeviceVoiceCommands error (1), Object reference not set to an instance of an object., Scheduler
Jun-17 15:18:56 Error BuildDeviceVoiceCommands error (1), Object reference not set to an instance of an object., Scheduler

I just verified it but running it manually at 15:18 and this showed up in the log. I am running HS3 .445 and XMLWeather .87

Do I need to change something?

BuildDeviceVoiceCommands is not a function in the weatherXML plugin.

You might check your forecast devices and see if you have them set to be a voice command device. The checkbox is on the Configuration tab of a device.

Thanks. I removed them earlier. Thanks Jeff. I will keep pushing on HS about this.
