Forecast icons missing

I'm having the same issue with icons not showing up from DarkSky. I downloaded Curl and put in them in the specified folder, but i'm still not getting an icons on the user page. Is there something else i need to do to kick this off so it grabs the icons? I've restarted the plugin and homeseer, and that didn't help either.

Give it a day or so. It doesn't work immediately and I think your frequency of update affects how long it may take.

No, I didn't, because the remnants of the thread seemed to suggest that only those running XP should have to follow the instructions... what I suppose was the background and explanation of the process to fix the problem is now a dead link. Then, too, I had never heard of "Curl."

So, if this works, and I suspect it will since some of the icons have already populated, other folks should, regardless of the (windows) operating system:

download Curl from here,
and unzip the .7z file (if needed, the unzip utility is found here),
and move or copy the .exe and .cert files to C:\program files\homeseer hs3\bin\weatherxml\

This looks like the problem I'm having, but the link in Jeff's reply is a dead link, so not really sure how to proceed.

Thanks very much - downloading curl from winampplugins.co.uk/curl and placing the exe and cert files in c:\program files\homeseer hs3\bin\weatherxml did the treat.

What version of windows are you using? If you are running XP then check this thread to see if it helps.

Using NOAA wx I don't see the wx icons. For example m_scttsra.png is my forecast icon today, but it was not downloaded and not in the images/weatherXML/condition/ folder.

Edit: upon further investigation I see wxXML downloading the icons, but the icons do not show up in the condition folder.
