  • Log File for weatherXML debugging

With the release of version 1.0.0.93, there is a new option in the logging level. This is just meant to be used to get a file that can be used for error debugging.
Go to the Settings page and in the Logging Level dropdown select "weatherXML WebPage". Click one of the menu items so the menu buttons get reloaded. There will now be a new button labeled "Misc". Click the "Misc" button. When the page loads there will be 1 or more log entries. If there are several click on "Clear Log". Go to the weatherXML scheduled page and manually run the event that is causing an error. When it finishes go back to the "Misc" page and click on the button "Save To File". The file logOutput.txt will be saved to the HomeSeer HS3/data/weatherXML directory. If I have asked for a file, I will provide an email address for you to send the log file to.
