    I have uploaded custom PNG's which work perfectly for all forecasts except "Forecast Horizontal/Vertical "

    Any clue where the problem could be?

    Thx

    Have you checked the log to see if / which files are missing?

      Yes, doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the log (see below)
      Seems more like an internal process which is not logged in details;
      Weird that my icons get through for all forecasts but not these 2; maybe the png format is not compatible, I'll have to try other icons for testing or save under a different format maybe.

        I use png & jpg format and don't seem to have problems. Have you looked in the WeatherXML log file to see if there is anything?

          yes see above.
          I've tried changing to jpg. all forecasts icons gone. Must need png.
          saved again under png with different software. all forecasts icons back on, except vertical/horizontal.

            Sorry - mistook for homeseer log.

            If you go look at the file in the directory, does it display correctly? If not do you have the days you wish to download sent in the legacy section of WXML?

              File is the same in the \HomeSeer HS3\html\images\weatherXML\condition directory
              both vertical/horizontal are processed without icons.
              Any way to reset this feature? used to work before I changed the icons.

              everything else works perfectly:

                from CFGuy's post

                "instead of using HTML in the device string which kept them from being used in HSTouch, I used the code to create an actual image"

                Did any of the filenames change - even slightly? This could break his code that concatenates the images. The post also says that he went back to html.

                  Did further testing, manually deinstalled everything and all of a sudden some old icons came back in vertical/horizontal, so they must be stored somewhere and I need to reset or delete everything. Any clue where the code resides?

                    I think it is in the plugin.

                      I completely deinstalled the plugin and resinstalled from the plugin manager, so the icons must be stored elsewhere... just need to force a refresh which doesn't seem to happen automatically.... Seems like the first time I put valid icons they were uploaded somewhere and won't re-update if changed...

                      Edit: The Legacy vertical/horizontal works but still no luck with the standard vertical/horizontal.... still displays icons I deleted a few days back, they don't even exist on the server anymore so must be stored/embedded in some file

                        Have you set the schedules for update? Might be worthwhile to send a PM to CFGUY as he is incredibly responsive.

                          yes and I guess a manual "run now" should do it...
                          CFGUY has posted a sticky mentioning he wouldn't be around for a while since his mother has health issues.
                          Hopefully he'll eventually see this post and respond.
                          Thx,

                            Just adding this screenshot for reference;
                            you can notice that the update is done at the same time and regular forecasts use the correct icons (from "condition" folder)
                            but for some reason, horizontal/vertical forecast still uses some test PNG I used originally which seem to be stored somewhere else and not updated.

                              There are name devices that weatherXML is using. My devices are below.

                              I am wondering if you have to overwrite the files with the same name as uses / expects. The Icon names do not have any status graphics when you look inside which means he is probably setting them in the plugin.
