    HomeSeer Event

Could someone advise how the events are handled with regards to temperature being the condition? I would like HomeSeer to email me when the local temperature drops below a certain value.

The question is a bit vague, but I think I understand what you want to do. There are probably many ways to accomplish a task like this, but this is the way that occurs to me.

I assume you have a device that contains the current temperature from the plug-in. I'll call it 'CurrT'.
To avoid repeat notices after the temperature goes below the designated value, call it 'ColdT', a second device, call it 'MessageSent', will be useful.

If the value of CurrT changes
And If the value of CurrT is less than ColdT
    And If MessageSent is Off
    Then send email.
    Then set MessageSent to On

If the value of CurrT changes
And If the value of CurrT is equal to or greater than ColdT
    And If MessageSent is On
    Then set MessageSent to Off
