Instructions for configuring existing OS devices when batteries are changed

Do these exist? Every time I've had to refresh my batteries each year for the last 5 years I've had to delete the device and then add a new one from the BLRF Sensor menu. This is really a problem given that a new device is assigned a new HS3 Device Ref and completely messes up any database action and scripts that rely on the HS3 Device Ref. Any help would be appreciated. I'm on v2.0.93.0. If these exist somewhere and I simply haven't been able to find them, please let me know.
