    Startup problem.

Every time I restart HS I have to go into the HAI therm setup and go to the devices page and hit the submit button to get any of the device values to update. After hitting the submit button I see log entries that show the device values being set and from then on these values will continue to update. This is playing heck with my data collection, but that is just the inconvenient part.

The annoying part is that none of the schedules will work until I go to the schedule page and hit the load button and then the submit button. If I don't the therm never changes from the previous setting when scheduled. That is causing the most problems, the frustration factor makes me hit the hold button to keep from coming home to cold house. Not good for seeing if I can save a dime or two by setting back. In case of un-scheduled restart I'm just hosed until I notice it happened and fix it.

    Anyone else seeing this?
    Thanks, Terry

nope. are you seeing any "HAI Thermostat" entries in the log? you should. the tstat should be sending back updates on temp, etc as it changes.

i would submit a trouble ticket. sounds like the install of plug-in didn't take. you may want to delete all the related files and start clean.

    good luck

Sorry for the delay getting back, thanks for the reply.

Yes after I "remind" HS that the thermostat is there by the above method the log entries happen, until then it will not interact with the thermostat. The devices and therm settings remain thru the restart they just dont update their values. I dont think I made that clear above.

Later, thanks again for the help, Terry

please submit a trouble ticket if you can't get this working. there are a few known issues/bugs with the plug-in right now (which hst will fix) but you may have found another.
