    My first 3 way

Ok, sorry for the title, but i couldnt resist.

So Im new to Insteon and Homeseer and just installed two (2) 3-ways, each using Switchlinc Dimmers (2476D). I'm having issues with each circuit.

The first one, the Primary switchlinc doesnt seem to have full control over things. Both have 50% local brightness setting.
Scenario #1: From the Primary switchlinc:
Tap top paddle once -> Lights go to 50% - Primary LEDS to 50% - Secondary LEDs to 50%
Tap top paddle again-> Lights go to 100% - Primary LEDS to 100% - Secondary LEDs stay at 50%

Scenario #2 From the Secondary switchlinc:
Tap top paddle once -> Lights go to 50% - Primary LEDS to 50% - Secondary LEDs to 50%
Tap top paddle again-> Lights stay at 50% - Primary LEDS stay at 50% - Secondary LEDs go to 100%

I have cross linked them manually and the interconnection shows up in HS.

But there is also strange happenings inside HS.
If I change the status of the Primary device, the lights adjust accordingly, but the Secondary device has no reaction.
If i change the status of the Secondary device, the LEDs change but the lights dont do anything.

In the second circuit i set up, it is acting pretty much in the same fashion, but i havent completely tested it because I cant change the local ramp or brightness. Maybe a bum unit?

So what did i do wrong? What am i missing?

    TIA,
    Spyder

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with your problem, but I discovered it when I did a 3 way switch install. My system uses X10, not insteon, so again take this comment for what it is.

You must make sure that all 3 switches are on the same phase of wiring. I originally had one of the slave switches on the other phase (because of location) and it would never work. Even with a very good coupler repeater and excellent general system reliability it never worked. I guessed it had to do with the opposite phase wiring. I went up into my attic (the pink panther lied about insulation not being itchy) and wired it up to the same phase. Now everything works great.

The SmartHome installation instructions make no mention of this problem. Buyer beware.
